Attach BHS Axle Holding Kits to racks to create a storage and payout solution for cable and wire reels. This two-piece axle support system includes a UHMW plastic lining to prevent the wear associated with metal-on-metal friction.
This is the same material used in slide strips, and its unique combination of strength and friction-reduction allows axles to rotate silently and without damage. While the contact points are lined with UHMW, the frame of the Axle Holding Kit is made from heavy duty steel with a durable powder coating, supporting loads of up to 4,500 pounds.
Axle Holding Kits are designed for axle tubes of up 2 inches in diameter, and an assortment of adapter kits support larger shafts and hubs. Wall Axle Tubes in a variety of sizes are also available. Axles of any size spin smoothly and silently in the Axle Holding Kit, and the quiet operation helps to comply with OSHA standard 1910.95, which limits occupational noise exposure.
